SAFYRIC Achieves IOGP S-611 Certification for Fugitive Emission Type Test
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. Recently, our company successfully passed the fugitive emission type test, meeting the rigorous standards outlined by the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) S-611 Annex J - Fugitive Emission Type Testing (Amendments to ISO 15848-1). The IOGP S-611 is the specification prepared under the Joint Industry Project 33 (JIP33) "Standardization of Equipment Specification for Procurement" organized by the IOGP with the support from the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Under the witness of TÜV, the test valve which is a NPS 6 Class 600 Gate Valve underwent thorough evaluation of its external leakage of valve stem seals and body joints, with test temperature at -46 deg. Celsius, RT and 400 deg. Celsius and total mechanical cycles of 205. We are proud to say that the results were satisfactory, and they exceeded our expectations.
Fugitive emissions pose environmental and safety risks within the oil and gas industry, and addressing these concerns is paramount to our company's values. By achieving IOGP S-611 certification, we are not only demonstrating our dedication to environmental stewardship but also ensuring the safety of the workers and their surrounding communities to the latest requirements.
This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability. As a company, we are constantly striving to develop and deploy cutting-edge technologies that minimize environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency. This certification underscores our ongoing efforts to innovate and deliver sustainable products and solutions that benefit both our industry and the planet. As concerns about climate change and environmental sustainability continue to rise, our company remains steadfast in our commitment to responsible and sustainable manufacturing operations.
